Sr. Aluminum Worker

We're looking for an experienced Sr. Aluminum Worker to join our team in Orangeville, ON.
In this role, you'll fabricate and weld custom aluminum structures and components from detailed shop drawings. From cutting and machining to MIG/TIG welding and final assembly, you'll work across the fabrication process to ensure every piece is built accurately, safely, and to Taylor's quality standards.

Read and interpret detailed shop drawings and specifications.
Create cut lists from drawings and verify dimensions before fabrication.
Cut aluminum extrusions using automatic double mitre saws.
Set up and operate shop machinery to produce precision aluminum parts.
Operate manual milling machines to drill and slot aluminum components.
MIG and TIG weld aluminum structures and components.
Grind, bend, and finish welded joints as required.
Fit and align components to ensure assemblies meet specifications.
Verify all required parts are present before assembly.
Safely lift and handle aluminum extrusions and fabricated components.
Participate in staging new and refurbished client properties.
Maintain production schedules and complete inventory usage documentation.
Work independently and collaboratively based on project requirements.

3+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience with aluminum.
3+ years of experience operating manual shop equipment, including vertical mills, saws, lathes, and related machinery.
Strong understanding of shop math and the ability to read complex part and fabrication drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work varying hours when project timelines require it.
Basic personal tools and safety boots.
